With my design-day intensives you can have a whole day of my schedule dedicated to you, to check off all those design tasks that have been piling up.

WHY BOOK ME FOR A DAY?

How It Works:

01 / Book your session

Select a day from my calendar and complete the contract + payment steps to get your design-day with me booked.

02 / Share your wishlist

You’ll submit a questionnaire with your design wishlist in the order of importance along with any materials or necessary information. This step must be completed at least 2 days before our session to allow time to look over everything and create a plan for our day.

03 / The day of

On the day of your design-day, after taking an extra shot of espresso and putting away all distractions, I will work on as many designs as possible from your wishlist.

All my attention will be on your brand – with no other client work, emails, or priorities interfering – and I’ll be in touch throughout the day with updates to ensure we are heading in the right direction.

04 / WRAP UP

And just like that, at the end of the day, you will get all of your final files done. It’s that simple and efficient.

What can we accomplish when you book me for a whole workday?

Every single one of my design-days is unique, and yours will depend on your specific goals and needs. I will work on all the designs I can complete in an 8-hour period. Here are a couple of examples:

Branding Intensive

Design of a stunning simple logo, color & font choices, styleguide + collateral piece.

Web Design Intensive

Creation of a one-page responsive website or redesign of your existing one.

Presentation Design

Redesign your presentation with a winning makeover or create a corporate template.

Marketing Materials

One-pagers, stationery designs, social media posts, or any other corporate collateral.

Should you need a combination of the above, have another project or “design list” in mind, reach out so that we can discuss your options and what we can get done in a design-day.

common design-day questions

What will our design-day schedule look like?

Your project will have my full, undivided attention for 8 hours – it will be the only item on my schedule and you will be the only client I will be communicating with. I start work at 6 am EST, but we can come up with a schedule that works for both of us.

Will I need to be available that day?

I highly recommend that you are available on our design-day to touch base throughout the day, provide feedback, and answer miscellaneous questions promptly. This way, we can make efficient progress and make good use of your design-day hours.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

If you need more time to gather your thoughts or materials, you may reschedule your design-day to up to 30 days from the original date with 7-days prior written notice. Since I blocked the day on my schedule and turned down other projects to be available, a rescheduling fee of 20% would apply.

How is payment handled?

Full payment is required at the time of booking to ensure we honor the workday I’ve set aside just for you. Please note that your day will not be secured and the work will not commence until full payment is received.

What happens if we don’t finish in one day?

In the case that more revisions, requirements, or additions that would require additional time are needed, we can discuss your options – whether it’s another design-day, a half-day or a custom proposal.

Can I book multiple days? What about half-days?

Absolutely – feel free to reach out with any scheduling questions. Half design-days are mostly reserved to continue projects from previous design-days or projects. Retainers are also available if you’d like ongoing design support.
